Renata Jungo Brüngger has been a member of Mercedes-Benz Group AG’s Board of Management since January 1, 2016, responsible for Integrity and Legal Affairs and Co-Chair of the Group Sustainability Board.

Britta Seeger will take over responsibility for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales from Ola Källenius (47), who will then take over Board of Management responsibility for Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development. Britta Seeger has been appointed to the Board of Management until December 31, 2019.

He will succeed Professor Dr. Thomas Weber (61), who will leave the company when his contract expires on December 31, 2016 by mutual agreement and at his own request. He will continue to assist the company in an advisory capacity. Källenius is currently responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales in the Board of Management.
  • Stuttgart, Feb 16, 2016 - In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Daimler AG extended the contract of Dieter Zetsche (62) by three years until December 31, 2019. He will remain Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars until that date.
  • Stuttgart, Dec 9, 2015 - In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Daimler AG appointed Renata Jungo Brüngger (54) to the Board of Management with effect as of January 1, 2016. She will take over responsibility for Integrity and Legal Affairs, thus succeeding to Dr. Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt. The appointment of Renata Jungo Brüngger is effective until December 31, 2018.
  • Stuttgart, Oct 16, 2015 - The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen AG, Hans Dieter Pötsch, has asked the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Daimler AG, Dr. Manfred Bischoff, to release the Member of the Board of Management for Integrity and Legal Affairs of Daimler AG, Dr. Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt, from her current contract, which is scheduled to run until February 28, 2017. She is to move to the Volkswagen Group as Member of the Board of Management for Integrity and Legal Affairs on January 1st, 2016.
