Stuttgart, May 21, 2010 - Around 100,000 readers of AUTO BILD magazine have voted the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Germany's most attractive car. The super-sports car received the most votes of any newly launched model. Second place in the overall rating was taken by the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. The Mercedes-Benz F 800 Style emerged as the winner in the "Studies & Concept Cars" category.

Stuttgart/Affalterbach, Dec 17, 2009 - The new SLS AMG is to receive an internationally renowned design award, the "iF product design award 2010". The iF product design award was first presented in 1953, and ranks among the most impor-tant design awards of all. The 24-member jury chose 778 entries from around 2500 candidates in 16 categories; the SLS was up against numerous well-known competitors in the "Transportation Design" category.

Stuttgart, Sep 16, 2009 - At the 2009 International Motor Show, Mercedes-Benz is allowing visitors to take a detailed look behind the design scenes. Right on the spot, Mercedes-Benz designers show how e.g. the SLS AMG or the E-Class Coupé is created – from the first design sketch to the finished model. The spectators are right up close, and can witness the design process at first hand, understand it and be amazed.
